The Framtiden kimono is festive, beautiful and elegant. Its design is simplified and it has a straight fit. The sleeves are traditionally kimono-shaped. The design is classic and timeless. The kimono comes with a belt made of the same fabric. The texture of the EcoVero fabric resembles Crepe de Chine silk and drapes beautifully. The Framtiden kimono's story began in 2016 when owner Virpi was studying at the Helsinki Design School and created this pattern as her final assignment.
This kimono can be worn in many ways. Wrapped up, the neckline forms a beautiful V-shape and when open, it's flowy and light. It can be worn as a festive outfit for events ranging from Christmas parties to summer gatherings, making it a unique and spectacular party outfit that serves year after year.
The FRAMTIDEN pattern and collection were inspired by a cleaning cloth used by Virpi's friend in the spring maintenance of her sailboat, named Framtiden. The paint, tar and lead residue on the cloth formed a pattern and color that Virpi fell in love with and came to use in her designs. She printed it on silk fabric, and with that the spirit and color scheme of the collection was born.

We offer free shipping on orders over €200. For other orders, in Finland shipping costs €7.90. At checkout, you can choose the delivery method that suits you best, and the exact shipping cost will be displayed. You can see shipping costs for international orders at checkout.
You also have the option to pick up your order free of charge from our Helsinki store at Yliopistonkatu 25.
Retuns
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days. The cancellation period ends 14 days after you have received the last item in your order.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice of cancellation before the period expires, along with the returned package. Please list the products you are returning and the reason for the return on the order form included with the package.
You can return your order free of charge to a PostNord service point using the customer return sheet that came with the order.

The guiding principle of Niinmun design is sustainability, ethics, and responsible development. Our collections are not based on seasons; instead, our products are timeless garments made from high-quality materials that endure year after year.
We use carefully selected natural materials, and our garments are produced in a total of six sewing and knitting facilities in Finland. In addition, we collaborate with a sewing and knitting facility in Lithuania.
